Most images were created as vectors which then had photographic textures applied. Further detail, such as light and shadow, was added in Photoshop. Complex assets, such as the helicopters, were created entirely as vectors which meant they were much easier to animate when brought into Flash. The background environments were broken down into layers such as 'background', 'mid-ground', and 'foreground', and allowed the animators to create a parallax effect adding depth.
